Beginner 2 Wheel Throwing

Monday 6:00 – 8:30 PM with Dyana Fiediga

This class is for students who have learned the basic foundation, ie can center the clay easily enough but perhaps want to learn how to throw larger or with more control over the outcome.

What You'll Learn:

• Students will explore more advanced techniques, including assembling multi-part pieces, creating matching sets, developing intentional design practices, throwing larger forms, lidded vessels both before and after making.

Lessons are guided by student interest, with wheel throwing as the main focus. Handbuilding techniques will also be introduced when they support your creative goals. Each class begins with a demonstration, followed by dedicated wheel time.

Open Studio Practice Hours:
Wednesdays: 4 – 8 PM
Thursdays: 4 – 8 PM
Fridays: 12 – 4 PM
Saturdays: 12 – 4 PM
