Handbuilding Sampler Class
This handbuilding one off class is a great way to try your hand at making a mug, planter, small bowl or plate with clay without a semester long commitment. Share the evening with your bestie, date, partner or consider booking the session for a group night out! Our welcoming atmosphere will provide a fun way to spend creative time together or solo
Experience the excitement of making with clay through handbuilding. We will be using slabs, templates and bisque molds to construct unique one of a kind pieces for your home. Different from the wheel you will be able to actually create your vision and bring it to life in just a short amount of time. This offering is perfect for gift making too! Participants can use our stamps to design and add personality and/or bring in something of their own.
Class Requirements
- No experience necessary!
- Minimum age is 12, anyone under 14 must attend with a participating adult.
Sample Class Format
- In this 2 hour class a skilled instructor will walk you through the steps of making so there is no prior experience necessary! We will glaze and fire the piece of your choice, included in the cost of the lesson. Additional work can be glazed and fired for $20 per piece.
- Please arrive 10-15 minutes in advance of the class to get settled in.
- Please select a project you wish to make so that we may prepare ahead of time. If you finish your desired project early you will have the opportunity to make another or focus on a smaller project such as a spoon rest, ring holder, incense holder, napkin ring, etc.
